While we cannot change the payment method for your refund, the good news is that if your new card is linked to the same account, your bank or card company will automatically transfer the refund to your new card number.

If your account has been canceled, you’ll need to contact your card company or bank to determine how you’ll receive your refund. Typically, they will issue you a check or another form of payment to ensure you receive your funds.

We follow this process to help prevent fraud by ensuring that funds are returned to the same bank account that was originally charged, rather than an account that doesn’t belong to the original cardholder.
